Lookbook / Poems for Spring
Posted by RODELLEE BAS
April is International Poetry Month and to celebrate, we are sharing some of our favorite poems centered on Spring, flowers, the changing seasons, and the rain alongside these lovely photos we took of our model Bailey at our studio a few weeks ago in a meadow we crafted using silk and dried flowers. A Song The Grass Sings The violet is much too shy, The rose too little so; I think I'll ask the buttercup If I may be her beau. When winds go by, I'll nod to her And she will nod to me, And I will kiss...

Lookbook Archives / Summer Memories

We've been doing a lot of organizing and tidying up around AV HQ and I recently came across so many different "mini lookbooks" that I've shot over the past couple of years and realized I've never shared them. Most of the photos live on the homepage for a little while, but there isn't anywhere here at Adored Vintage where you can see anymore from these shoots, so I thought why not share them! I consider myself a very amateur photographer and taking photos for Adored Vintage is something I find a lot of joy in! I'm a self taught photographer and to be...

Lookbook / Thoughts of Sunshine
Posted by ADORED VINTAGE
Whenever we do shoots at Adored Vintage, we always make a little time to snap a few quick photos out and about in Portland. Usually the shoots are just the model and myself and we hop into my car and drive through the streets of Portland looking for a pretty alley or street or door to perch in front of. Then snap, snap, snap...we out! These photos of Michaela was a day as I described above. I love spending time and getting to know all the different models we work with and Michaela has definitely become an extended member of the...

Field Trip: Picking Pears on Sauvie Island
Posted by ADORED VINTAGE
One of the reasons we love living in Portland are the numerous small farms close to the city that allows you to pick seasonal fruits and vegetables (and also flowers!). Today, we headed out to Sauvie's Island, a small island just north of Portland with beautiful pastoral landscapes. We stopped at a small U-Pick your own fruit orchard and pears are in season.

Delicate Autumn
Posted by RODELLEE BAS
Oh goodness, better later than never I say and this is really applicable to this wonderful photoshoot my friends and I collaborated on last Autumn! I've shared bits and pieces of it here and there, but never more than a photo or two. So today, for no particular reason, a more thorough look through at the photos we shot on a very cold October Day last Autumn. The fog was so beautiful, we had gathered together at 6 in the morning to catch the early morning light and get that soft misty look. Lately I've been really wanting to start shooting more moving...
